Computers are hard.
Seriously.
I think I have a new found pity [deleted] awe for people that can work with computers to make them go properly and junk. I don’t think my head has ever hurt as much as it has while working with watching Jack work with his computers and robots and all that jazz. There are way too many little pieces for me to even try to remember what they all are and let alone what the heck they do.
Forget that, I’ll never be a computer Einstein, that’s for sure.
I think I’ll just stick to my training and whatnot.

It’s really nice to have Papa here again! Mr. Kirk, you have to meet him. And you too, Mr. Bones — you both should meet him. I would has Miss Uhura but she’s on your big big ship, right? So I guess I can’t. But anyway~ You guys should meet him and hang out. Papa needs friends, after all, really.

The show is tonight~
Well, no. The first showing of the… um, show, is tonight! I can’t wait~ Miss Garnet is going to be just totally fabulous up there! You all have to hear her sing, it’s just absolutely gorgeous. I can’t wait for everyone to cheer for her
Of course, I can’t wait to be up there too. I’ve never worked with older kids people students before, well apart from the practices of course, but I think it’ll be fun! I mean, I really enjoy the script and the play and the practices, and for grown-ups, they’re all really nice! (Even the director guy is really nice, imagine that. I hear awful things about them in, well, famousness I guess…)
Anyway, I have to get ready!
You better be there Mr. Bones, I got you three night’s worth of [deleted] a ticket and everything. I expect you to be there with Mama and Mr. Kirk and Miss Helena and Jack and… Everyone else I invited.

Mama got me a haircut, so now my hair doesn’t look entirely awkward anymore. It’s barely down to my shoulders… I’m not used to it, I don’t know how much I like it just yet, it’s kind of… it’s just different, really. I guess I can’t really pin it up that well anymore… oh well…
Thanks for watching a movie with me, Mr Kirk, it helped me to stop thinking about it for a while. So that was nice. Sorry that she was kind of mean to you Mr Honey… but Jack shot her with a nerf dart, so that makes up for it a bit!
I’m kind of getting tired from practicing so much with this musical, but it’ll be worth it in the end. I think I’m more tired than usual because I have a bunch of homework, too. But that’s okay, school is sort-of-but-not-really-kind-of-almost over, just a couple more months! Sometimes I wish I were in college so that I would get done sooner, but that’s okay, that’s only because I get tired of homework.
I have everything done, though. So tomorrow, I think I’m going to go buy Tamacha some more kitty food. He’s running low.

You know what, I don’t think that this is a very good thing for me to keep finding around here. I’ve already found some in the bathroom, in the living room, the halls, the foyer, the dining area and even in the cleaning closet! And I know they aren’t mine because, well, they’re too big and some of them are too small? That makes no sense, but oh well. [deleted] So Mr Kirk, I think that it’s time you and I had a little talk about all these panties I keep finding.
I mean, it’s kind of nuts. I don’t even know who they belong to and I don’t want to wash them because, well…
So I have to wonder, do they belong to Miss Libby? Miss Tina? They could be Miss Jessie’s or maybe Miss Trudy’s? Oh, or maybe they could even belong to Miss Natasha, Miss Sabrina, Miss Zoe or Miss Amy? Something tells me that they don’t belong to Miss Erica because she didn’t seem to like you that much and they probably don’t belong to Miss Ashley either. But they could be Miss Carrie’s or Miss Paula’s…
But either way, it’s getting kind of messy and I’m really tired of picking them up, so maybe you could tell them to clean up their laundry and not leave it all over the place? I mean, how do you even manage to drop your panties in a closet after a shower or something? The cleaning closet at that! I think I’ll try looking into a voice teacher. I mean, I know that I can… But with someone training me, I think I would be better and that’s what I need at this point. Start early, right? Hm, I don’t know…
Anyway!
Miss Helena’s performance was fantastic! I hadn’t seen anything like it before, I hope that I get to see more things like that in my lifetime, I know that I would love to see a ballet sometime… Maybe a few more operas but I think that what I really want to see right now are some musicals and some plays put on by huge professional productions! I think that would be really interesting, I hope that I get to watch that I Want to be Your Canary with Miss Garnet sometime…
I’ve been thinking about asking to kind of, I guess, ‘rent out’ the auditorium or something to practice singing and my lines in there, you know, to make sure that my voice can reach the far away sections. Maybe I’ll ask after the weekend, I’d really like to just sing there sometime a… alone, really [deleted] just to be on a stage and do it, by myself, I mean. Maybe I could try Defying Gravity just to do it…
I guess it’s something to think about, anyway.
I should think about getting my Easter things together, too!

I’m really tired this weekend, I’m not really sure why, either. I wonder if it’s maybe all the homework and the rehearsals I’ve been going to? I don’t think that I need to go to many more of them just yet, but I’m not totally sure. I think Miss Garnet’s teacher is supposed to let me know through an email or something, which I’ll check later when I don’t feel so groggy. I hope I’m not getting sick…
I think I got all my math homework done, I still have some science work to do and I have to remember to read my book for English class so that I can be prepared for the book report when it comes time. Mm, well, I think there’s a book report with this one? I figured there might be, otherwise I don’t really know why we have thirty minutes of reading time from a book of our own choice… Maybe the teacher just wants to make sure that we’re reading or something?
I was going to make some tea… but I think I’m out of honey.

I have lines to study and a song to practice! I saw a flyer in the drama classroom while I was there for casting of Little Red Ridinghood in a musical that’s going to be put on with the older kids! I’m guessing there’s going to be a lot of girls trying out, but I want to at least give it a shot. I don’t think that I’ve actually heard of the musical Into the Woods — but I’m going to give it my best shot and see what happens! I bet Kelley will try out too…

Oh maannnn…
I was really enjoying the break off from classes, too. But now I’m back to having a bunch of homework and no time to play. I did get to use my pretty tea set but it’s in the cupboard now though. I’m a little scared to break it. It’s so pretty but it’s really fragile. I do really like it a lot though Mister Greg!
I think I’m starting to get a hold of my math class a bit more. Dividing big numbers isn’t as hard as I thought it was, it’s gotten a bit easier at least. But this decimal stuff is just wonky. I really don’t think that I know how to do that quite as well as the rest of it, but it’s slowly coming together and that’s all that matters to me, I think!
OH! Miss Garnet, I’ve already read a bunch of the book you gave me. This play is really, really fascinating so far. I can’t wait to get further into it. I’ve made it my ‘for fun’ weekend reading. Something tells me that I’m not going to have a whole bunch of time to myself from here on out, but weekend reading is not going to stop because that’s a necessary fun time.
Mister Kirk, if you want to watch more Steel Samurai tonight, I wouldn’t mind! I have almost all my math work done and it’s the weekend, so it’s alright if I stay up a bit late tonight. We have to finish the series before we can watch the movie, because you won’t understand the movie if you don’t see the end of the series, you know.
